Professional orchestra with young musicians from all over the world

The Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra was established in 2005 as a resident orchestra exclusively affiliated with the Hyogo Performing Arts Center, a symbol of the cultural rebirth of the Hanshin Awaji region devastated by the 1995 earthquake, under artistic direction of Yutaka Sado.
HPAC Orchestra holds worldwide auditions bringing in young promising musicians from all over the world and provide them variety of performances throughout a season. Not only the hands-on performance opportunities HPAC orchestra provides, it holds an academy element to follow up on members of orchestra to become an excellent professional orchestra player by holding masterclass etc... It is a unique orchestra with a new system like no other in the world.
